Prepaid service credit
Credit is for compute. Top-ups are generally non-refundable, subject to the terms and mandatory rights.
Your work stays yours
You retain ownership of your code, data and outputs. You must have the right to submit and run them.

Your account
Creating an account is open — Google, GitHub or an email address. Spending needs a prepaid balance. Two gates: an account, and money in it. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and your account is the boundary: jobs, status, artifacts and cancellation are scoped to it.

Your balance
You add money to a prepaid balance and each job comes out of it. The balance is held in US dollars.
Credit packs are sold by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ) as merchant of record under its Buyer Terms; Creem issues your receipt and invoice and handles refunds and chargebacks. Symbioza credits your balance when Creem confirms payment.
Your balance is a credit we owe you in compute — it is not money or any asset we hold on your behalf, and it is not an account with anyone else.
It can only be used for compute on this service. It cannot be transferred to another account or sold. It is not redeemable for cash except for the refunds described in section 4.
It does not expire.

What you are billed
Every job carries a spending limit you set. It is checked before a machine is booked and again before every retry, and a job that cannot continue inside what is left of it is stopped rather than allowed to overspend. You are never billed more than the spending limit you set.
A job that finishes is billed once, and that price appears on your statement. The charge shown after completion may change while billing is reconciled. Your total charge for the job, including retries, will not exceed your spending limit.
A job that fails, or that you cancel, is billed for the resources it used — the machine time including setup, staging and the time after your command ended, storage and data transfer, and our handling of the run — never more than the spending limit you set.
Estimates, status checks and reading your own job list are free.

Refunds
Top-ups are generally non-refundable. Credit does not expire and remains available for compute while the service and your account remain open. If we discontinue the service, or if we close your account under section 6, we return your unspent purchased credit in full. Resources already used remain chargeable. Nothing here limits a cancellation or refund right that applicable law gives you.
Refunds for purchases made through Creem are processed through Creem. Contact us about a refund.
If you are buying as a consumer rather than for a business, and your own country gives you a right to cancel, that right is not affected by anything here — see section 8.

What you give us, and what stays yours
You own your container image, your command, your data and everything a job produces. You give us permission to run them, move them between the machines a job needs, store them, send what the parties named in our privacy notice need in order to play their part, and hand them back to you — and nothing else. We do not use your data or your artifacts to train anything.
You are responsible for having the right to run what you submit, and for it being lawful.

What we ask you not to do
Do not use the service to break the law, to attack anyone, to mine cryptocurrency, or to run anything you do not have the right to run. We may stop a job and close an account that does. If we close your account under this section, we return its unspent purchased credit as described in section 4.

Liability
We provide the service as described on this site. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Your rights, and the law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of Israel. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live — you keep those, and you can bring proceedings in your own local courts.
Nothing in these terms removes a right your own country's law gives you and does not let you sign away.

Changes
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here with a new date and tell the email address on your account before the change applies to you. You may stop using the service if you do not accept a change. This does not create an additional refund right beyond section 4 or applicable law.
